SUMMARY:Musique Aux Sommets
DESCRIPTION:Photo credit: Coco Country Band \n  \nThe Musique Aux Sommets festival will rekindle your country flame for one night in the heart of the warm and scenic village of Chartierville. Over the years\, the festival has welcomed many renowned artists such as France D’Amour\, Kim Richardson\, Sylvain Cossette\, Rick Hughes\, Marc Hervieux and many others. The goal is simple: to share an unforgettable moment in an idyllic landscape to the sound of amazing musicians! \n  \nFor the 2021 edition\, Coco Country Band will be on stage! Under a big top in Chartierville\, on September 11th\, attend one of the two performances at 4pm and 8pm! The group of musicians was originally formed in an academic setting at Lionel-Groulx College. Discovering their common passion for country music\, but most of all\, discovering their incomparable fusion dynamism\, they decided to continue to spread the notes of their instruments throughout Quebec. Greatly passionate\, the young members rehearse for many hours to reach the highest levels of precision. Without a doubt\, their enthusiasm and motivation is contagious; you’ll see! \n  \nAll are welcome! The cost of a ticket for adults (12 years and older) is $25 while the show is completely free for children 11 years and younger. Reserve your seat quickly by purchasing your tickets directly online on the Musique Aux Sommets website. To ensure the safety of all\, the vaccination passport is mandatory. In addition\, people from the same address will be grouped together in neighbouring chairs. Please note that there will be no canteen on the site and no possibility to consume alcohol. \n

SUMMARY:Exhibit- Le Haut en Tableaux
DESCRIPTION:As of September 12\, you are invited to come and admire the works of three artists with intoxicating talents: Mr. John Ward\, Ms. Ginette Djinn Bertrand and Ms. Diane Dugal. \n  \nOriginally from England\, Mr. Ward believes that art is a cultural medium that will always have an important place in society. While he paints to please others\, he also paints for his own self-actualization\, having explored various styles throughout his career. With his undisputed drawing skills\, he can easily go from portrait to landscape or still life in one stroke of the pen! You will notice his inspirations from the greatest painters such as Van Gogh\, Cézanne or Isaac Levitan in his paintings that influence each other. \n  \nMs. Djinn\, on her side\, reveals a poetry of adventure. In these paintings you will see cracks of rock running through her works as if ephemeral nature was taking over a tender memory of travel. His paintings will transport you into an abstract reverie of international landscapes\, sometimes real and sometimes invented. Faces are drawn voluntarily or involuntarily from the gaps and stains left by the shadows created. The artist will certainly charm you with her paintings of infinite interpretations. \n  \nFinally\, Ms. Dugal uses her visibility as an artist to engage in conversation about environmental and ethical issues. With the skyrocketing use of plastic\, she reflects on the legacy we want to leave to future generations. Through both sculptures and paintings\, Ms. Dugal always manages to point to a discussion that needs to be debated. \n  \nIn short\, the new exhibition at the Cookshire-Eaton Art Gallery is a short detour to allow yourself a visit to the world. If you have a thirst for culture and exploration\, you’ll probably leave your visit in awe!

SUMMARY:U-Pick Pumpkins
DESCRIPTION:What could be better than a colorful pumpkin harvest in the middle of fall? Thanks to Les Jardins d’Etc\, you can choose the pumpkin that will decorate your porch this fall! Everyone is welcome to attend the open house on Sunday\, September 19th from 9am to 4pm. All of the farm’s products will also be available: watermelons\, cantaloupes\, squash\, zucchini\, potatoes\, gladiolas\, and various other flowers! \nBeing part of the “slow flower” movement\, the owner Mrs. Émilie Turcotte-Côté encourages consumers to buy local products. Be assured that the vegetables and flowers are picked only a few hours before the purchase according to the time of the season; nothing to do with those imported from Holland\, South America or Africa! The bouquet arrangements are colorful living sculptures\, from daffodils to sunflowers. You will even be amazed to see decorative cabbage leaves or cherry tomato branches added! \n
