The property
Atelier Auckland is a creative, exhibition and meeting space located in Saint-Isidore-de-Clifton, in the heart of a nature reserve in the Eastern Townships. Founded by Sylvain Dodier and Luc Pallegoix, this hybrid space combines visual arts, writing and reflection on the relationship between humans and their environment. In the organization of the buildings, Luc Pallegoix’s creative studio and Sylvain Dodier’s library frame a string of exhibition rooms between courtyard and garden, overlooking the 30-hectare nature reserve, criss-crossed by paths and water courts.
Real and virtual showrooms, a summer program and a quarterly online event: While the large garden-floor rooms host in situ exhibitions and events, in March 2025 Atelier Auckland will open a dematerialized art gallery that will enable artistic immersion beyond the Eastern Townships, in highly modular spaces that will showcase the work of artists from near and far. The quarterly online event ACTION CULTURELLE brings creators and audiences together around exhibitions, interviews, lectures, performances… Summer on the estate gives way to La Belle Saison programming, with one indoor and one outdoor exhibition, punctuated by events around the themes of art, tableware and the art of living.
