Marécage-des-Scots Regional Park

The property

From the weekend of the Patriots’ Day to the Thanksgiving weekend, you can practice biking and hiking. The park is then closed during the hunting season until December 20th and then it is accessible again until the thaw for cross-country skiing, trail riding and hiking.

The park offers 16.6 kilometers of multi-purpose trail for the round trip. You can continue on an additional 4.5 kilometers, directly following our trail within the Franceville sector of Mont-Megantic National Park (Valley Trail). Please note that there is an access fee for the section inside the National Park.

There are three parking lots at your disposal, either at the Walter-Mackenzie Park in Scotstown, at the gazebo at the MacLeod Brook outlet or in front of the entrance to the Franceville sector of Mount Megantic National Park. We invite you to respect the regulations for your safety during the closed season. We also insist on the respect of the environment and the obligation to bring back your waste.
